In-person visits to assess progress, side effects, and the next dose step. Weight, body composition, and key labs tracked over time.
Integrated care

Frequently asked questions
Tirzepatide tends to produce more weight loss in studies and may be better tolerated for some patients. Semaglutide has a longer track record. Both are excellent. Your provider will recommend based on your situation, side effect profile preferences, and what's available.
Clinical trial averages: ~15% with Semaglutide, ~22% with Tirzepatide, over a year-plus. Individual results vary substantially. Most of our guests see meaningful results within 3-4 months of starting.
Variable. Some guests use the medication for 12-18 months to reach goal, then taper. Others remain on a maintenance dose long-term. We reassess regularly with you.
Some weight regain is common after stopping any weight loss intervention. We work on sustainable habits during your program (nutrition, movement, sleep) so the regain risk is reduced. Some guests find they need a lower maintenance dose long-term.
Coverage depends on your insurance and diagnosis. Ozempic and Mounjaro may be covered for type 2 diabetes; Wegovy and Zepbound for obesity if you meet criteria. Bring your insurance info and we'll discuss coverage options.
Facial volume loss that can occur with rapid weight loss on GLP-1 medications, fat loss in the face that makes guests look more drawn. We can address this with strategic dermal filler if/when it bothers you. Lymphatic drainage also helps with puffiness during loss.
Most guests have nausea in the first 2-4 weeks of treatment or after a dose increase. Eating slowly, smaller portions, avoiding rich foods, and staying hydrated typically manages it. We can prescribe anti-nausea medication if needed.
Exercise isn't required for weight loss on these medications, but resistance training is strongly recommended to preserve muscle mass during loss. GLP-1 medications drop both fat AND lean mass; resistance training protects your muscle.
