Design Philosophy
A space built for what happens in it
Most medical spaces in the United States are designed for efficiency, fluorescent overhead lights, easy-to-clean surfaces, neutral palettes that don't compete for attention. The logic is reasonable on paper. In practice, it produces rooms that feel like processing centers, where the only sensation guests bring home is the relief of leaving.
We took a different approach. Rêve was designed from the materials up, espresso wood, champagne-gold detailing, natural stone, layered lighting, deep textiles, and considered air. Every surface was chosen for both how it looks and how it feels. Every room was sized for the time you'll spend in it. Every transition (from the front desk to the treatment suite, from the Turkish bath to the recovery lounge) was thought about specifically.
The result is a building that performs the way a great hotel does: you stop noticing the design within a few minutes, and what's left is the feeling. Calm. Cared for. Like the space is on your side.

The Modern Turkish Bath
Our signature room. Heated marble, steam, copper bowls, traditional kese and köpük. The only one in Metro Detroit.
The Salt Chamber
Dedicated halotherapy room with pharmaceutical-grade halogenerator. Dim, quiet, comfortable lounge seating.
Treatment Suites
Multiple private suites for facials, microneedling, peels, laser. Each one identical in standards, varied in detail.
Injectable & Aesthetic Rooms
Larger, brightly lit rooms with proper medical seating. Designed for both consultation and procedure.
The IV & Recovery Suite
Private chairs in an unrushed, quiet room. For IV therapy, NAD+, and recovery between treatments.
The Medical Consultation Room
For hormone, weight, and TRT consultations. Library-quiet, designed for unhurried conversation.
The Couples Suite
Side-by-side massage suite with shared experience options. Bookable for couples or close pairs.
Materials
What the space is made of
Marble for the heat surfaces and the reception counter. Honed not polished, softer to the eye and to the touch. Espresso-stained oak millwork throughout, the same family of wood from the entry to the back hall. Champagne-gold metal accents on hardware, lighting, and key millwork details, never chrome, never brushed nickel, because the warmth matters.
Textiles in deep neutrals (taupe, espresso, cream) chosen for the way they feel when you sit down. Lighting layered in three: a warm general layer, accent layers on artwork and architectural details, and task lighting only where it's needed. No overhead fluorescent anywhere in the public space. Air filtered medical-grade in all treatment rooms, with the dim ambient sound of HVAC tuned to barely audible.
The details are not for show. They're the difference between a room that feels clinical and a room that feels like sanctuary.
