Microneedling with PRP: How It Works

Microneedling with PRP combines two ideas that work well together. It’s one of our more popular skin treatments, and it’s easy to understand once you break it down. Here’s the plain version. The service itself lives on our microneedling page.

The microneedling part

Microneedling uses fine, controlled micro-channels in the skin to prompt the body’s natural repair response, which includes producing new collagen over the following weeks. That’s why results build gradually rather than appearing overnight.

The PRP part

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood. The portion rich in growth factors is applied during or after the microneedling step. The idea is to support the skin’s natural healing process with your own biological material.

What to expect

Some redness afterward is normal and typically settles within a day or two. Because results are gradual and cumulative, a series is usually recommended. We’ll set realistic expectations with you beforehand.

Putting it off carries a cost that never shows up on a receipt: the photo you stepped out of, the afternoon you sat out, the version of you your family gets at the end of a depleted week. The first visit is always a consultation, never a sale. Tell us what's on your mind, and we'll tell you the truth about what will actually help.
